SBA: Federal Certification Information Session

Learn from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on what your business needs in order to successfully compete for government contracts.

8:30 - 9 a.m. // Light Breakfast & Networking
9 - 10:30 a.m. // Program

As a certified entity, in addition to pursuing government contracts, you can participate in executive level business training that helps small businesses remain competitive.

Eligibility criteria covered by the SBA in this session includes:

  • 8(a) Business Development Program
  • Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program
  • Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program
  • SBA Mentor Protégé Program

In addition, you will learn where to find federal opportunities for your small business.

Parking: Metered spaces are available on E. Central Blvd. and E. Pine St. Covered parking is also available in the parking garage located across from 301 E. Pine Street at a rate of $4/hour.
