Rebuild Globally CEO Shares Her Story
MemberLink Learns About Social Entrepreneurship

The Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce was delighted to welcome back to Memberlink Julie Colombino, CEO, REBUILD Globally, this past Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Julie Colombino is the Founder and CEO of REBUILD globally (RG), a social enterprise established in response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake based in Orlando, Florida. RG is a progressive hybrid business developed to lessen poverty and the effects of poverty through dignified, living-wage employment. RG trains, equips and employs survivors to make high-quality up-cycled tire sandals for sale in the local and international market.

MemberLink is a highly visible, prestigious and committed group of active members of Orlando, Inc., representing all business sectors, membership levels and stages of the business life cycle. The primary purpose of these monthly breakfast meetings is to "Link Members to Success" through programs that focus on the work of Orlando, Inc., and the other Lines of Business of the Central Florida Partnership, while also allowing them to create and foster new connections with other participants. Guest speakers provide timely insight into local and regional business topics.

Mimi Hull, Ph.D., chair of MemberLink and a member of the Board of Directors of Orlando, Inc.; and President of Hull & Associates, facilitates the meetings.

The next edition of MemberLink will feature Kathy Panter, President, Junior Achievement of Central Florida, Inc., and is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce Building.
