Leadership Orlando Class 93 – Medical City Session
Since 2006, ’magic’ has been happening just south of Orlando International Airport. The massive Medical City complex at Lake Nona includes the UCF College of Medicine, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, Nemours Children's Hospital, VA Medical Center-Orlando, University of Florida Research and Academic Center, GuideWell Innovation CORE and now the U.S. Tennis Association Divisional Headquarters. Leadership Orlando Class 93 traveled to Volusia County, home of “The Great American Race,” the Daytona 500 on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, for an update on the new DATONA Rising complex.  The $400 million project reimagines one of the great American icons – The Daytona International Speedway.  Following their visit to Daytona Rising, the group traveled to the beautiful campus of Stetson University in DeLand for a luncheon briefing and tour of the campus. Read more ...
