Application Deadline – Political Leadership Institute
The Central Florida Political Leadership Institute features a three-day political leadership school, ongoing leadership activities throughout the year and important networking opportunities. It features local, state and national speakers who share their invaluable expertise on campaigning for public office and leading once elected.

Primary Election Day – Be Sure to Vote!
Voters registered with one of Florida’s political parties express their preference for the candidates they would like to see representing their party on the General Election ballot in November. In addition, all voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote in non-partisan races on the ballot (such as school boards), referendums, or proposed constitutional amendments.

John Blair Culpepper passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the age of 78. Mr. Culpepper served as Chair of the Orlando Chamber of Commerce in 1976, was Founding Chair of Leadership Orlando (Class 7), having graduated from Leadership Orlando Class 2. Most recently, we were pleased with his participation in the 100th Anniversary Celebration for Orlando, Inc., in 2013 and the 40th Anniversary Celebrations for Leadership Orlando in 2015, participating in our Past Chairs Luncheon and hosting a Reunion Gathering for Class 7. Relinquishes Role Following November Election

California Foundation Announces Matching Grant
In the wake of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub, the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation announced a $250,000 matching grant in support of the Level One Trauma Center at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), according to John Bozard, President of the Orlando Health Foundation. Read more ...
