Earlier this year, the Orlando Regional Chamber signed a Strategic Alliance Memorandum (SAM) with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) when it welcomed the newly appointed Region IV Administrator Ashley D. Bell on his first official visit to the Orlando region. The purpose of the SAM is to foster business development and expansion among Central Florida’s small business network. Under the SAM, the SBA and Orlando Regional Chamber are jointly undertaking a campaign to facilitate a partnership with the SBA’s North Florida District Office. Included in the campaign are a series of informational sessions facilitated by the SBA to provide Orlando Regional Chamber members and the business community with a comprehensive overview of particular SBA programs and services. These educational opportunities will be available to members of the Orlando Regional Chamber and Investors in the Orlando Economic Partnership at no cost.
