The 49 Portraits Project
The City of Orlando's Public Arts exhibition, The 49 Portraits Project, was born as a way to respond in a meaningful, respectful and loving way to the tragic events at the LGBTQ Pulse nightclub on June 12, 2016. The 49 Portraits Project in the Terrace Gallery at Orlando City Hall, features the work of 49 artists from across the country who created portraits to honor the innocent victims and give as gifts to their families.

UCF and Valencia College Break Ground
Hundreds were on hand as the University of Central Florida and Valencia College broke ground for a new campus located in the Creative Village in Downtown Orlando, setting the standard for the future of higher education.
